It’s a new year and you’re most definitely planning your new food ventures so that you can shake off those festive fouls. The prospect of leaves and more leaves doesn’t sound inviting? No problem. We have found the perfect North London kitsch café full of delicious sushi. Yes, that’s right, go Japanese for the first month at Sushi Cafelicious in Golders Green, from the owners of Café Japan. Sounds like the perfect January, drizzly Saturday to us- perched on the stools overlooking the uber talented sushi chefs. Just make sure you order some of the best sellers- their temari, and their sushi balls topped with shitake mushrooms.

If you’ve spent all of December in brunch venues at places like the Wolseley, then you’ve probably been caught up in the Winter 2011 hype. Breakfast at the Wolseley was one of the many routines we added to our December Saturday’s, but now we have been given something new- that of the launch of The Delaunay- it’s much expected sister. So you know where we’ll be most Saturday mornings in January, gobbling the eggs Florentine and drinking the champagne tea. The take-out will also come in handy- open from 7am daily on days when breakfast just needs to be taken home.
